We will be holding our annual elections in March. Our nominating committee - Debbie Sharp and Debbie Helsley - have been calling folk to see if they are interested in helping guide the direction of our neighborhood association. We will be electing the following positions: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, 3 district representatives and 4 at-large representatives.
We will also hear from our police liaison and our City Council Representative, Tommy Smith.
Come hungry!! Spaghetti dinner will be provided compliments of Roundup Restaurant.
All are welcome to attend. Come hear about exciting activities and projects in which SWNA is currently involved. Be a part of planning future projects that interest you. Bring a friend!
Meeting starts at 7:00 at the Woodlawn Christian Church.
We also invite you to help SWNA better serve you and make our neighborhood better by taking a short survey. SWNA has been around nearly 20 years! You can see our SWNA welcome signs that encircle our district. We take on projects at Sam Duff Park, help neighborhood schools, do road clean ups, hear from police and city officials at our meetings, and many other projects.
Which projects do you want SWNA to make a priority? How would you like to be involved? If you live within the South Woodlawn Neighborhood area, let us hear from you! Here’s a link to the survey… NOTE: If you respond before March 17th, you’ll be entered in a drawing to win $25!
