Come hear neighborhood and South Knoxville updates, interact with our KPD liaison, and hear about exciting activities and projects in which SWNA is currently involved.
Be sure to come hungry so you can enjoy some delicious chili (both meatful and vegan/gluten-free options) provided by the Roundup Restaurant & Ice Cream parlor. Sam Tobea (Roundup Restaurant owner) is a wonderful supporter of and advocate for the community. Roundup Restaurant has wonderful home-style meals at truly affordable prices. Go check them out - right outside our neighborhood on the corner of Lancaster & Sevierville Pike. Notice all the 5-star reviews this little restaurant has gotten!!
We’ll also hear from our Knoxville City Police liaison and our committee chairs will give us updates on what happening in their committee.
Be thinking about what future speakers, programs, and projects for the group. There will be time to share you’re ideas. Come be a part of planning projects that interest you!
Meeting starts at 7:00 at the Woodlawn Christian Church.
We also invite you to help SWNA better serve you and make our neighborhood better by taking a short survey. SWNA has been around nearly 20 years! You can see our SWNA welcome signs that encircle our district. We take on projects at Sam Duff Park, help neighborhood schools, do road clean ups, hear from police and city officials at our meetings, and many other projects.
Which projects do you want SWNA to make a priority? How would you like to be involved? If you live within the South Woodlawn Neighborhood area, let us hear from you! Here’s a link to the survey… NOTE: If you respond before March 17th, you’ll be entered in a drawing to win $25!
