Welcome to the South Woodlawn Neighborhood Association site!
Our membership meetings are the 4th Monday in January, March, May, July, September and November. Often we move our September meeting to coincide with recognition of National Night Out in October.
We meet at 7:00 p.m. at the Woodlawn Christian Church, 4339 Woodlawn Pike [map to church]. Watch for our neighborhood meeting signs that are put out the weekend before the meeting.
Check out our announcements page for upcoming meeting information.
Be sure to like us on Facebook to keep up with neighborhood events.
Time to get your Holiday decor on! SWNA is having our annual Poinsettia Sales fundraiser and selling poinsettias in a variety of colors.
These plants - locally grown at Stanley's Greenhouse - are superb quality and last a really long time! Your plants include a foil pot cover, free delivery AND you’re benefitting neighborhood initiatives!
Complete this online form to order https://form.jotform.com/SWNA_Knox/swna-2023-poinsettia-orders
You can designate a desired delivery date. Otherwise, someone will contact you before delivery is made. NOTE: if you want to pick up your plant/s at the November meeting, make note in the comment section.
If you see a color at Stanley's that is not on our order form, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. Some of the colors are premium and will cost just a tad bit more.
In 2013, we became the 1st Community Wildlife Habitat in the State of Tennessee and 75th in the nation.
In recognition of this achievement, we had a party at Stanley's Greenhouse.
In order to remain certified, we must continue to earn points each year. We will be posting opportunities to become involved as we identify projects for our 2015 certification.
Visit our Wildlife Habitats of South Woodlawn page for more information about this project.
